Category Quiz (Trivia) 3.7.1

"Category Quiz" is a quiz game that challenges players to answer questions by category. With over 10,000 questions available in both English and German, there is plenty of content to keep players engaged.

One standout feature of Version 2.0 is the integration of Google Play Games, allowing players to compete globally and see their ranks on a highscore list. Additionally, players can unlock achievements and earn experience points by logging in with their Google account.

In Version 2.1, the introduction of "Image-Questions" adds an exciting new element to the game. Players must rely on displayed images to answer certain questions.

In Version 3.0, the multiplayer mode takes center stage. Players have the opportunity to match up against opponents from around the world in thrilling head-to-head battles.

If players encounter any issues, experience crashes, or have questions, they can reach out for support via email ([email protected]) or through Facebook.

The game's question bank is regularly updated to ensure continuous enjoyment for players.

Currently, players can test their knowledge in various categories such as Sports, Entertainment, Food, Geography, Science, History, Art & Literature, People, Music, Religion, Technology, Animals, Economy, Politics, and Botanical.

Singleplayer Mode

In singleplayer mode, successfully answering all questions in a category grants players an additional 100 points. Subsequently completing the second category rewards 200 extra points and each subsequent category completed adds an additional 100 points to the total score.

If a question is answered incorrectly, the respective category becomes "locked" and no further questions can be answered within that category.

If the question timer is enabled (this option can be adjusted in the game settings), players have 30 seconds to answer each question. The faster the response, the more points are awarded (3 points for each remaining second). Additionally, players can leverage 3 Jokers (50:50, stop timer, new question) for assistance.

In a "quick game," 6 categories are automatically selected. For a "normal game," players have the freedom to choose their favorite 6 categories.

Multiplayer Mode

As of 03/31/2020, multiplayer mode is no longer available due to the discontinuation of Google Play's turn-based multiplayer service.

! IMPORTANT!

Players have the option to enable or disable the display of correct answers in case of an incorrect response. This setting can be found in the "options" menu, alongside the ability to adjust the timespan in which correct answers are displayed.
